Filing a takedown notice

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (3) identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on our service; (4) your contact information; (5) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice per 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). We will forward it to the complaining party; if they do not file suit within 10-14 business days we will restore the material.

Repeat infringers

We will terminate accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Misuse

Knowingly submitting a false notice may result in liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
